Founded in 1990 by present director Mr. Peter Schipper, Sledge Hammer initially focussed itself on installation and removal of sea fastenings on board vessels, pontoons and crane barges .
Over the years working areas expanded towards designing, engineering and construction of tailor made products such as: umbilical reels, service modules, crane foundations and project related adaptations on a large variety of floating equipment.
This whole range of projects resulted in a broad knowledge on most of the aspects within the marine construction sector.
A multidisciplinary team of experienced S.H.E.I. employees is ready and prepared to assist with salvage, commissioning and decommissioning projects.
